Ateneo Withdraws Packard Foundation Tie-up for MBA Health |
We received word on June 18, 2007 that the Ateneo Graduate School of Business has decided to withdraw its partnership with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation for an MBA-Health program on "Strategic Resource Population Management" starting SY 2007-2008.
We understand that no less than Bishop Soc Villegas, of the CBCP's Episcopal Commission on Catechesis and Catholic Education, communicated with Fr. Bienvenido Nebres, the University President of Ateneo. Fr. Nebres "assures CBCP of full communion".
All of us in the pro-life and pro-family movement are very happy with this development.
We believe it was the concerted effort of everyone who prayed and who wrote to the Ateneo objecting to this Program that resulted in this withdrawal.

Pro-Life Philippines also opposed the program. See their letter at http://www.prolife.org.ph
Thank you.
