1. JOIN THE CONGRESS VIGIL

Majority of the members of the Committee on Rules of Congress voted on 7 June to allow House Bill (HB) 3773 or Responsible Parenthood And Population Management Act Of 2005 for Plenary deliberations. This means HB 3773 has been calendared as part of the Business of the day and may be taken up at any day and time when Congress resumes its sessions.

It is difficult to find out beforehand when the Bill is going to be discussed. Thus we have to mobilize ourselves so that our people are always present to alert the rest of the groups on the day that the Bill is taken up. We are organizing the Congress Vigil and inviting you to join us.

2. INFORM, EDUCATE & CAMPAIGN ABOUT LIFE & FAMILY ISSUES

Many still do not understand or realize that the proposed laws pending in Congress have serious moral and social consequences on the family, marriage, and youth. We have made available a list of organizations familiar with these issues.

We are providing their contact persons for information or for seminars that you can organize in your homes, parish, neighborhood, or offices on key issues about the dignity of life, family and marriage, teen sexuality, population control and contraceptives.
